Radio: The online multiplier and RadioGAUGE

Our sister brand Other lines of enquiry has been at the forefront of media research for years.
So we were delighted (but not surprised!) when during the MediaWeek awards ceremony on October 28th, two Other lines projects - “Radio: The Online Multiplier” and “RadioGAUGE” won the Gold and Silver awards for best research initiative.
The Online Multiplier used a custom software App installed on respondents PC’s to capture browser history data. This allowed us to correlate online activity with ad exposure, to see how advertising can influence online behaviour.
RadioGAUGE is the ongoing radio advertising measurement tool. It’s been running for over 4 years, and despite the toughest market conditions in living history, the project’s success has led to a £32m revenue benefit for the UK’s Commercial Radio industry and returned £103 for every £1 invested in the research.
